Helping those who help us

Focused on bridging clinical expertise with real-world situations, LFH Counseling Services strives to enhance mental health and wellness for first responders and their families.

My Approach

As a clinician specializing in first responder needs, I understand their unique pressures and challenges. My experience has given me insight into the toll that high-stress environments, trauma exposure, and shift work can take on their mental health. I provide a trustworthy space where first responders can process their experiences without fear of stigma.

With my expertise, committed engagement, non-judgmental stance, and a little humor, I help first responders ranging from police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and correction officers, to build resilience, regain balance, and continue serving their communities while prioritizing their own well-being.

Helping those who help us

First responders face unique challenges that make therapy essential for their well-being. They regularly encounter traumatic events, face high-stress situations, and make life-or-death decisions. Therapy should address these issues while considering their resilience, coping mechanisms, and the stigma they may feel about seeking help.

Clinicians who understand these demands can provide a safe space for processing trauma, developing healthy coping strategies, and maintaining emotional balance. Access to confidential, flexible, and specialized mental health support is crucial to ensuring that first responders receive the care they need.
